On Thursday, March 19, 2026, we had the great pleasure of welcoming the children of Mavrommati Kindergarten, Municipality of Aliartos–Thespies, to the Bread Museum of Amfikleia.
Our young visitors were guided through the museum’s spaces and had the opportunity to learn about the history of bread, its importance in nutrition and everyday life, as well as the traditional tools and baking techniques used in the past.
At the same time, through the Museum of Traditional Trades, they traveled back in time and discovered professions that have now disappeared or evolved.
A highlight of the visit was the hands-on kneading activity, where the children participated with great enthusiasm, under the guidance of Ms. Fenia Bathra, Head of the Museum, and Ms. Eugenia Panourgia, a retired educator and member of our Association’s Board.
We warmly thank them for their wonderful presence, their smiles, and the vibrant energy they brought with them!
